Dear Nathan Cung Zabik,

I am so glad to receive your wonderful letter and I am grateful to your parents for making it available for us to read. I am so happy to hear that you are attending the school there in Indianapolis. I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all the best in your studies, its also so wonderful to hear that you have three sisters, May God bless you all, I hope and pray that all the seeds you are sowing with your hard studies will bring good harvest to your community and beloved Motherland.

We are going through the darkest moment in our history in Chin State and the whole of Myanmar where children are not going to school anymore but are instead facing heavy battlefield weapons because their school buildings are being occupied and run by the brutal gunmen of the military junta, most of the school teachers in Chin State have refused to work under this brutal oppressive military general’s reign of terror against the students and teachers, therefore they have joined the civil disobedient movement (CDM) which is a non-violent peaceful movement much more powerful than the military junta’s acts of terrorism against the entire population of Myanmar. In Chin State alone many tens of thousands of children and their parents have fled their homes and villages for their lives from the heavy battlefield weapons being unleashed on the state in massive ways.

I will greatly appreciate if you and your friends at your school take two minutes out of the 24 hours in a day to please pray for Chin State and Myanmar. We are facing the massive darkness of crimes against humanity but in the end we will prevail because light is much more powerful than the darkness just as love is much more powerful than hatred and peace much more powerful than violence. I truly believe that prayers to Almighty GOD is much more powerful than these mass of weapons in the hands of the genocidal military junta in Myanmar. Together, we will overcome this crisis, together we will end this nightmare, together we will bring the light into this darkness for ALL, together we will build the new future where love, peace, hope, prosperity, and stability will exist for ALL the children and the people of Myanmar regardless of their race, religious, culture, colour, gender, background, and ethnicity.

Thank you and May God bless!

Sincerely,

H.E. Dr. Sasa
