I wish to extend a sincere and hearty thank you to the Burmese diaspora of Los Angeles who have generously donated funds in an effort to combat the devastating effects of COVID-19, which is raging across our home country in an uncontrolled third wave. Our organization has received a monetary donation of $30,000, which will go fully towards necessary supplies to provide proper treatment for COVID-19 patients and support for the brave medical teams offering care, so that they can continue to offer care.

I am also attaching with this letter a certificate of thanks from the Ministry of International Cooperation on behalf of the people of Myanmar to the Burmese diaspora of Los Angeles, and I look forward to a strong bond and long relationship with this amazing community of brave people.
