Full Moon of Thadingyut means the festival of light, the celebration of the light of love, the celebration of the light of freedom, the celebration of the light of hope and peace. This special festival of light, Thadingyut is a very special occasion for the people of Myanmar.

Thadingyut is the day for us to express the light of love to our people, the light of love to each other and the light of love to our beloved country of Myanmar. Unfortunately, this is the second Thadingyut festival which falls on the darkest chapter in the history of Myanmar.

May the next year’s Thadingyut festival be the festival of peace, festival of freedom and festival of prosperity. The light of Thadingyut and the Spring Revolution will surely prevail over the darkness of the brutal genocidal military junta’s reign of terror against the people of Myanmar.

From the depth of my heart, I wish and pray for our brave people of Myanmar for the love, peace and prosperity they deserve.
