The morning of the 19th of July, 1947 at 10:30 am local time in Yangon, the father of Myanmar Independence and the father of our State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the founder of the Myanmar Armed Forces, General Aung San was assassinated by a terrorist group led by U Saw. Since that black day in Myanmar history, our dear leader, the father of Myanmar Independence, General Aung San and the people of Myanmar have yet to receive justice. The terrorist group led by U Saw assassinated General Aung San along with eight other heroes of the Nation: Takhine May, Ba Choe, Abdul Razak, Ba Win, Mah Ba Khaing, Seo Sam Htun, Ohn Maung and Ko Htwe.
The assassinations of these Martyrs was also the assassination of our federal democracy charter of the time, known as the Panglong agreement, which was signed between our forefathers and leaders from ethnic States, and General Aung San on the 12th of February, 1947. The Panglong agreement was indeed the first declaration of Independence of Myanmar from Great Britain, and this Panglong agreement was based entirely on the Principles of Federal Democracy, equality and human rights for ALL the people of Myanmar.
On the 12th of February, 1947, the Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar was born through the Panglong agreement, but after four months this young Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar was assassinated and destroyed by the terrorists, and its faithful martyrs were murdered in cold blood by wicked gunmen.
For 74 years, the brave people of Myanmar have been speaking loud and clear that they want a Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar for ALL the people of Myanmar regardless of race, religion, gender, culture, background and ethnicities. During this time, since the martyrdom of General Aung San and his comrades, the people have given their precious lives for the cause of Federal Democracy and the freedom of Myanmar. Over the course of this time, thousands upon thousands of martyrs have given their precious lives for the cause of Federal Democracy and freedom, and the brave people of Myanmar continue to give their lives for this same cause even today in 2021.
Despite these great sacrifices of precious life and blood, the same terrorist group originally led by U Saw are still at large in Myanmar today under the command of Min Aung Hlaing and his military generals, who are openly committing crimes against humanity, war crimes and atrocities against the people of Myanmar. The brave people of Myanmar have said enough is enough to the crimes against humanity, and the treason against the country and people of Myanmar.
Again, 74 years later, in the face of another genocidal military led by Min Aung Hlaing, the brave people of Myanmar have come together and democratically formed the National Unity Government of Myanmar to regain our rights, dreams and aspirations of a Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar. This is the only way to freedom, peace, prosperity, stability and equality for ALL the people of Myanmar. Since the failed coup on the 1st of February, 2021, more than 1,000 modern day martyrs have sacrificed their lives at gunpoint for the cause of freedom and federal democracy against this genocidal military junta, which has proven over and over again that they will never serve the interests of the people, but only serve themselves and their generals with the blood and wealth of the people of Myanmar. The junta cares nothing whatsoever that at least 50% of the 54 million people of Myanmar will get Covid-19 in the next few months, and that tens of thousands of people in Myanmar could die from this un-controlled Covid-19 outbreak in Myanmar. No one would be trying to take the whole country into hostage when Covid-19 has been threatening the whole world except this genocidal military junta in Myanmar, staging a failed coup with their battlefield weapons in the midst of a Covid-19 crisis.
The eternal sacrifices of all these martyrs has not, however, been made in vain, but will act as the catalyst to the future Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar. All these great sacrifices will be celebrated in the glorious future that awaits the people of Myanmar. Sooner, rather than later, the brutal military junta will be forced to end their acts of terrorism and assassination of innocent martyrs and heroes. They will be forced to stop the killing and theft of our freedoms and future. Soon, they will no longer be able to bring fear, pain, suffering, atrocity, death or destruction to the people and country of Myanmar. The end of this genocidal military junta reign of terror will be the beginning of federal democracy in Myanmar. Together we are making the beginning of our future; together we are defeating them; together we will end this reign of terror in the history of Myanmar, and together we will build a new Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar, with human rights, freedom, peace, prosperity, stability, sustainability and equality for ALL the people of Myanmar.
We salute all of the great martyrs of Myanmar who make the ultimate sacrifice for their families, people, and country.
May God Bless Myanmar!
